My dance journey began as a b-boy with Royal Flush Crew. I blend old-school Hip Hop foundation and new-school techniques, incorporating styles like popping, breaking, locking, tutting and house. I’m passionate about both choreography and freestyle dance. My inspirations are countless, but some include legends like Michael Jackson, Shabba-Doo, Boogaloo Shrimp, Mike Song, Ian Eastwwod, HeonWoo Kim (Wing), and Daniel Cloud Campos. Being in Ciara's music video would be a surreal and meaningful experience. I've admired her artistry since "Goodies" and respect her immense impact on the dance community. This once-in-a-lifetime experience would not only be fun and inspiring, but also allow me to contribute more to the dance world. It would be a story to share with my students, showing them the power of pursuing their passions and dreaming big.
I would invest the $20,000 into building my dream dance company. I'd be able to fund projects by paying dancers, buying equipment and offering student scholarships. This would allow me to create a positive space in the dance community that brings dancers together, supports their growth, and provides opportunities for those passionate about dance. It's a chance to give back to the art form that has given so much to me.
