I have been involved with dancing since I was 6. I am now 14, and I have learned so many new things from my instructors, peers, and the challenges I have overcome. I am very grateful for my parents for putting me into dance at such a young age because it is truly one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. Dance is something you can use to connect with people all over, no matter your level of experience. It is something I will hold in my heart and carry with me throughout my whole life.
There are many different ways being in Ciara’s music video would impact my life. Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to put myself out there to show off my talents and encourage young women like me to do the same. I believe this opportunity would finally help me create a platform to do so. Everyone is blessed with a gift, and it is up to them what they do with it. I would like to use mine to help others discover their own. I believe it would help me show that anything is possible.
This question has infinite answers, but I believe mine is the most efficient. I would use this money to continue boosting my career in dance and to encourage others that they can one day do the same, no matter how hard it may be. Once I achieve this goal, I will use this great opportunity that I was blessed with to help others. I will use my talents and abilities, both in and outside of dance, to increase this money and use it for a good cause like the “Why Not You Foundation.”
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
