Although hiphop is my strongest suit. As a creative I’ve grown this deep love for all styles of dance. I’m a firm believer in never putting your creativity in a box. Through the years of choreographing I’ve grown as a dancer simply by trying new dance styles. Every style has a unique inspirational flame to it, all it takes is the right dancer pouring out their passion and you as a viewer having the eye to catch it.
Coming off of a mental break and injury full of doubt and questioning my gifts, being in this video would mean the world to me. The fact that I’ve even been accepted through stage 1 and given the opportunity to compete is nothing short of a blessing. A wise quote once read “people don’t forget how to do what they love, they forget why they do it and this world will make us forget”. I plan to use the 20k to set a major first brick in launching my business and brand; Dre Coded Productions (DCP). As an individual I’m much more than just a dancer. DCP is a brand that will produce not only choreography but concept videos, dance classes, street teams, community service, a safe place for creatives to come and release any emotion through their craft, and eventually a studio/academy for future generations of all ages to come and be nothing but 100% them in a safe environment.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
