I believe in the gifts that God has given me. Being selected will impact my life greatly because it will help me to actualize my vision and make my dreams my reality. I will walk in the title of professional dancer again, without question. It will allow others to see that dancers come in various shapes and sizes; no cookie cutter can make this. I am a dancer that incorporate a lot of character and sass; a groover! I give you soft and feminine in one step and give you rugged and bold in the next. As a recent graduate from USC receiving an MFA degree in Film and Television Production, I would use the money to buy equipment. I would buy a Sony Fx6 to shoot concept dance shorts, music videos, dance documentaries, musical movies, and commercials. Pay for headshots, and classes to take and train in LA and NYC. Pay for an LLC to own a production company to be able to own and produce work that will allow me to pay dancers and crew members who apart of the projects.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
