I would say naturally my dance style is a combination of contemporary and hip hop. I have done a little bit of a few styles growing up. Ballet, jazz, liturgical, african, and a couple others so I would say all of it has it's own way of influencing how I move in general.
Aside from it being an amazing opportunity, it would be so personal for me. In these last 6 months I have been able to find a passion for dance that I thought I lost after stepping away from dance for a couple of years. For me this isn't just an opportunity, this is me continuing the journey of getting back the love I once had for something I thought I lost.
I would be able to not only alleviate some of my debt that I'm in, but I would also put some of it towards investing in myself as a dancer. Being able to take classes and maybe even fund doing a couple of solo classes because I've really been wanting to get back to choreographing.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
