My dance style is a blend of hip hop and street dancing, heavily influenced by the dance movies I grew up watching, especially Step Up. Those films really shaped my love for the culture and movement. Also, being around dancers all my life—thanks to my mom being a dancer—gave me a natural connection to dance.
Being in Ciara's music video would be a huge milestone in my journey as a dancer. It would bring me closer to my dream of becoming a professional dancer, especially with the chance to perform alongside an artist of her caliber. So far, I've accomplished a lot, but this opportunity would open so many more doors in the dance world, helping me grow and connect with even more talented people in the industry.
With the $20,000, I’d use it to support my mom by helping her with bills for the house. She’s been there for me my whole life, so I want to give back. I’d also put some toward paying off my college expenses to relieve that financial burden and keep moving forward with my dreams.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
