My passion for dance delves into learning new genres and challenging myself to preserve through new levels of growth. First, I love to bring my own personality to the choreo I’m performing by focusing on the musicality and the fluidity. Then, I like to relate the story to my life to add more depth. My inspiration for dance came from watching world-renowned performers like Michael Jackson and Josephine Baker. I remain inspired to grow due to my personal experience with rejection in the indu
I’m looking for that one opportunity to help me take flight. I don’t have this massive following on social media, neither do I have an extensive resume of dancing with famous artists. What I do have is the talent, resilience, determination, and overall character to achieve my dream of greatness. I believe this opportunity would be the one to trigger a chain of blessings to come! It would also allow me the platform to educate, provide, and support underserved communities.
Currently, I have the privilege of being a middle-class citizen, so I am dealing with the financial pressure of student loans, other bills, and attempting to support my family where I’m able to. If I had the privilege of receiving this money, I would split it up like this; -Give to my church tithes to finish our new congregation -Give to a nonprofit/host a community event catered to those without homes -Pay down my bills -Pay a months rent for my sister -Put what’s left in my s
