I gained most of my dance knowledge through college at San Jose State University & being on a hiphop team in the Bay Area called Syndicate. My style leans more towards hiphop/jazz-funk although I have trained in a multitude of styles such as different modern dance techniques, jazz, ballet, step, hiphop, & contemporary. I am hugely inspired by many dancers that range from the LA area to NYC, such as: Kyle Abraham, Tamisha A. Guy, Grant Gilmore, Robert Green, Danyel Moulton, & Jaylen P
I have always admired Ciara’s hard work & duality as an artist & there isn’t one music video I have seen from hers that I haven’t liked. Her dedication & attention to details are super inspiring & if I were to go from seeing her on the screen to dancing with her in person, that would make my entire year! This could open doors for even more opportunities that I'm ready for!
Me and my partner are currently trying to move from the Bay Area California to New York in March. This money would help us tremendously with such a big move across the country where I am hoping to start my professional career as a dancer!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
