The dance styles that I love to do are Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Majorette. I love giving energy and power into my movement. But every time I dance I want to move somebody, make sure they feel what I feel. People that inspires my movement are Sean Bankhead and Dianna Williams. Bankhead's choreography catches my eye every time and it makes me find moments of smoothness within my movement. I grew up watching "Bring It" and Williams gave me that fierce energy and mentality.
Being in Ciara's music video would impact my life tremendously. I've always wanted to dance with famous artist and learn choreography from choreographers. A lot of people in my city knows my passion and drive in dance, but I believe that it's time for the world to see and know who Davaughn is. This opportunity will open so many doors for me and I am excited to see where I go in my career!
With $20,000, I would be paying my tuition for college. I'm a Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance Major so I would still love to pursue my education. I will also help my Mom and Dad with any payments they have. They have put their blood, sweat and tears into my career and my growth, it's only right to make sure they are taken care of like they continue to take care of me. Then the rest, I would save and invest in more opportunities.
