Trained in all styles, I thrive in hip hop, contemporary and jazz. Obsessed with dance since a baby, my grandfather would put on dance shows when I was crying and I’d stop! I dance 10 or more hours a week. i choreograph other dancers. My dance teacher, Angela Gratton, pushes me to do my best. My biggest inspiration is my mom. A single parent, she’s done everything she can to make my dance dreams reality.
It would give me exposure and fulfill my life ling dream of being in a Ciara video (since my mom pulled out her Goodies CD when I was 7) Being from a small Canadian city, there aren’t many opportunities like this. I would use it to start my professional dance career and I’d ask for advice from professionals on set about how to make it in the industry.
I would put it toward dance training and competitions. It would help my mom a lot because dance is expensive and she does it all on only her income. For the past two years, i’ve been invited to a national competition and have gotten scholarships for US training, but can’t afford to go. Winning this would mean I could. And I’d spoil my dance teacher somehow to say thank you.
