I’m the next Dance Icon because I have that star quality you’re looking for — I know how to capture an audience and be a great performer!
Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
My dance style is hip hop, African dance, and majorette. I started dancing in school when I was 7 years old. As a Nigerian, my first introduction to dance was African dance, in which we would dance to traditional rhythms. This is where I developed my musicality skills. I was introduced to the hip hop and majorette dance style when I was a cheerleader in high school. We used to incorporate different genres of dance as a cheerleader and that’s how I fell in love with the art of dance.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be life changing because it would allow me the opportunity to learn from the best and perfect my craft. It would be a huge learning experience for me and I would be able to use all the skills I learn in the real world.
I would invest the $20,000 into starting my own business and develop a charity focused on heart health (as this is something the African American community struggle with the most). I would also invest some money into other black-owned small businesses to help keep them afloat.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
