Growing up I was a competitive dancer, trained in styles of jazz, ballet, tap and hip hop. Later in my professional career I had the opportunity to dive deeper into jazz funk and performance as I had the AMAZING opportunity to be a part of an NBA team. NOW current state I am now living the dream of a Hip Hop Dance Fitness Instructor changing and impacting lives one routine at a time!
Oh my… I don’t think there are words to describe how much of an impact this opportunity would have on my life. Through different seasons of life… I thought I lost myself, becoming a new mom, stepping away from a “performer’s life” but then, I came across dance fitness and I dived in. I quickly realized how that this form of dance changed my life and I quickly asked myself how could I change the lives of OTHERS?! And so from then on that’s what I strive
I would invest is a space. A safe space. For dance, for movement, for opportunity to continue to impact people of ALL ages and abilities. Offering an affordable variety of dance classes, movement classes, that will give the opportunity to those who think they are lost, to be found again. Opportunities are endless through the art of dance and I just want to be able to provide that to my community.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
