Well for starters I’ve been dancing since elementary school. Ever since I’ve been doing a little bit of everything but my strong suits are hip hop, majorette, and African. Since I was little I would watch dance videos choreographed by willdabeast, 8flavahz crew, Aaliyah jenelle, Nicole Kirkland, and practice till i got whatever dance I was learning. I also took lots of inspiration from dance shows/ movies I used to watch such as honey, step up, dancing dolls, dance academy , and so o
Honestly speaking I might just pass out if I do get picked to be in a video with her. I’ve been wanting to do commercial dance since I fell in love with dance. Ever since then I have been taking dance classes that way I would be able to grow as a dancer and a performer. This video would help open doors to many other opportunities that can help me in my dance career and help me show my family even though they do support me that dancing isn’t just a hobby but it’s my passion.
If I was able to win the $20,000, I would give half to my parents to take a small load off of them because they have struggled in general just raising 3 kids, lord knows it isn’t easy for them especially because they are getting older. Then I’d use the other half to help pay for the remainder of my college year(s).
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
