My inspiration for dance started with my older brother D'Juan. Then, I began to love Chris Brown, Ciara, Missy Elliott, etc. I've always loved the hip hop/ rnb style of dance. While I am capable to perform lyrical, or some Mexican style dances, hip hop has always had my heart. I've been to World of Dance competitions, opened up for Jacquees, been in a music video and so on.
For starters, my younger self would be ecstatic. I grew up watching Ciara's music videos on repeat, trying to learn the choreo. Being in Ciara's music video would dramatically impact my life because this is the moment I've been pushing for.. For so long. I've always wanted the opportunity to at least show what I got.. and Hopefully I make my mark.
My upbringing hasn't been the smoothest. So with a grand amount like this, it would go straight into my savings. I would still continue to work and push myself for more opportunities like this, because I not only want to make a change for myself- but for my family most importantly.
