I was inspired to dance as a way to release emotions I couldn’t express. After losing my dad at 3, I struggled to articulate my feelings and shut down for years. My mom tried different outlets—therapy, singing, sports—but nothing clicked. It wasn’t until I discovered dance that I finally found a way to let go of the emotions that had been weighing me down. Through movement, I was able to process and release what words couldn’t express.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a game-changer for my career. Breaking into the industry is tough without an established name, but this opportunity could open so many doors. It would also make little Diego proud, showing him that dreams can come true. Most importantly, it would prove to me that I can overcome everything I went through growing up and turn it into something powerful. It would be a testament to resilience, growth, and never giving up.
With $20,000, I would support my mom financially and invest in pursuing my dream of becoming a professional dancer. I’d use part of the funds to cover some living expenses, allowing me to focus fully on honing my craft. This would ease the financial pressure on my family and give me the freedom to chase my passion without distractions. It’s an investment in my future and a step toward building a career I’ve worked so hard for.
