Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My Dance style is a mix between oakland style TURF Dancing, Break Dancing, and Hip-Hop Choreography.
It will inspire my to see that you can be not only successful in dance but show the world that dreams become reality when you put the work in to be the best version of yourself. There is more to life than your circumstances and if you apply the formula to success the sky’s the limit. East oakland is where I grew up and all my students see if prostitutes,drugs and gun violence, I need my students to see that they can make it out, not to run from their community but to take opportunity.
In the heart of east oakland I will open up my own dance studio. And donate $1,000 to the Center for Art-esteem for allowing me to have a dance program in their agency. My dance program will be community driven implementing culture, community and autonomy in oakland. It will be a place where we can have food drives, talent shows, cyphers moments like daddy daughter dance day and more! I need my community to come together and this will be my service to them.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
