Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

I specialize in hip hop. I grew up in San Diego where we focus on a lot of foundation, groove, and technique. I’m inspired by my teammates, Choreo Cookies - many of them have went on to be backup dancers/international choreographers. I am also inspired heavily by my peers in the SD community because they have always kept the passion for art and dance true and raw. There are so many incredibly talented artists here. I really enjoy big, fun movement as well as articulate movement.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

I’ve always told myself that if I can be a backup dancer for at least one artist that I really admire, I would be able to retire my career peacefully having done everything I ever wanted to. This would advance my career immensely and give me the exposure I need to continue down this path. It would help boost my confidence and believe in myself more, fulfilling a dream of mine since I was a child. Ive grown up listening to Ciara my whole life and I would be in awe sharing a space with her.

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to pay off any debts. It would alleviate so much stress and give myself and my family a break from having to work over time to provide. I would like to have the opportunity to provide for my family and allow them to have their minds at ease for a moment in time. They have sacrificed everything for me to chase my dreams and I would love to repay them.
