Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My dance style is mostly Afrobeats. But I’m good at whatever dance style I put my mind to. I try not to stick to just one for of dance. Dance is my expression and I explore many ways to achieve that. My inspiration is my growth. I look up to dancers like Charlize Glass.
It would grant me a lot of publicity and I can finally prove to myself that I am a dancer. It’s tough growing up in a country like Nigeria(my hometown) where you’re expected to focus on academics alone and not hone your talents. Since I moved to the US, I decided to do both: I can be the top in my classroom and still be the best dancer I want to be.
I would use some of it to pay off my deficit for school. I am a sophomore in university right now in Alabama. This would help me also support my parents in Nigeria and be able to use the rest of the money to take care of my basic needs instead of relying on my parents who are struggling enough as is.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
