I am a self-taught performer. Beginning as a musical theatre performer at the local community center in my home-town. I then gained experience as a hip-hop battle dancer. In college I was a Cheerleader and mascot, which propelled me to the NFL. I was the 1st male dancer for the Tennessee Titans for 6 seasons, then became the 1st male Pro Bowl Cheerleader in the history of the NFL. Being in Ciara’s music video would finally give me the visibility to propel my commercial entertainment career. I remembered seeing the “1, 2 step” video and thinking, “I can dance. I can skate. I can double Dutch… why not me?!” This would be a full circle moment for myself.
With $20,000 I would be able to pay some of my college debt. Assist my family with living expenses. Also, set myself up for success here in Los Angeles. After leaving the NFL, I took a leap of faith and moved to the city of Angels to follow my dreams of becoming an entertainer on a larger scale. This prize will help me attain, so many goals!
