My dance style is mainly hip hop with a mix of the Caribbeans. I am Jamaican so I always include my culture in some way through my motions. Dance is so freeing and this helps me feel free.
Being in Ciara’s music video would help me prove my talent to myself. I’m often in my own head which causes me to miss shots I didn’t take. Part of this self doubt is due to breaking my ankle back in 2020. To this day my ankle hasn’t been the same, it still swells and causes me pain, giving me a sense of uncertainty with being able to do what I love. I refuse to let this stop me any longer. I’m taking all the shots this year, hit or miss, I’m not consuming mys
With the $20,000, I would be able to fund my dreams. Along with being a dancer, I am an actress, a singer songwriter and a model. This money would help me truly be able to invest in arts and maybe even help me remove the metal plates and screws from my ankle. This does not guarantee full range of motion, but there’s hope that it would relieve my pain and constant swelling.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
