My dance style has came from growing up not being able to be myself vocally so the other option I saw was to dance. I have been dancing since I could walk, no matter the music, tempo, or environment I am dancing. It comes from my love of music and how it does something to my brain that just takes over my body in way that I can’t explain. Dancing makes me the happiest in my life. My dance style has many layers to it from the softness of ballet to the hard sharp edgy of hip hop.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact my life by putting me in a position where I have always seen myself since I was little. I knew from being a little boy that dancing would take me far and to be able to have this opportunity would solidify that for me. Ciara is definitely my top three artist when it comes to performance and dance and to be able to have a chance to dance in the same space as her would be life changing all together.
I am definitely reversing myself out of debt first and foremost. Even though I have a stable career being in the Army I still had my struggles growing up. Came from a little country town and we didn’t have much but I didn’t have to want for anything because it was provided some way. It would also allow me to help me start my path on being able to help my family in ways I’ve always wanted to.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
