Dance makes me feel alive, like I can finally breathe after being sucked under the waves of life. Dance gives me the motivation to get up every day and fight to create a better life. All I ever wanted to do for as long as I can remember is dance.
Growing up I used to have dance battles with my family in our garage, and any time Ciara’s “One, Two Step” played my family knew to give me space because I was about to show out. If I could be in Ciara’s music video it would be the start of my dreams coming true. It would mean all my hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice was worth it.
I would take care of my family. I’d use it to pay off bills and any debt so that we could start fresh. If I had anything left over I’d use it to treat my friends and family who have supported me along the way so that they know their efforts weren’t in vain either.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
