I have a background in majorette but I love a good Jazz routine. I’ve taken contemporary classes, African dance classes and I’ve done hiphop routines while being on my high school teams. I also love Caribbean music so I would say my overall style as an urban blend.
I could be in a better place financially and as I’ve gotten older and into the real world my dreams kind of faded away but I’ve also wanted to be a creative. I’m currently a black woman in tech making an impact repping for people who look like me. But I’d love a chance to do both if presented the opportunity?
I would use some to pay off of my student loans, pay off some medical bills, put some in my savings, send some to my parents. Give some to the boys and girls club since I used to go there. Then start saving for a house since Atlanta housing is expensive.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
