My dance style consists of contemporary and lyrical, although I have been branching out and improving in jazz funk and hip hop. I grew up in a contemporary based dance studio, so I'm taking various classes of various styles when I can! As for my inspiration, I have many! My number one would probably either be Lucy Vallely, Kelly Sweeney, or a dancer I had known of growing up named Charlee Fagan. They are all who I aspire to be, and I continuously look up to them as I continue to grow.
Ciara's music video would impact my life tremendously by helping me achieve that first step towards my dance goals by exposing me to the dance industry in a professional setting while also introducing me to other dancers, choreographers, producers, etc. The music video will help me put my name on the map and kickstart my journey as a professional dancer. Plus, meeting and getting to know other dancers who strive for the same goals as me would be an inspiring, yet informative experience to have.
The very first thing I would do with the $20,000 is help pay off my mom's mortgage on her house. If there was any remaining money, I would probably invest the rest. I'm one of those people who hates spending money on myself; I don't exactly know why, so I don't think I'd use it to splurge on myself. Although I would might use some to splurge on my family members or friends.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
