My dance style and inspiration comes from great performers like Ciara, I remember being in middle school and coming home from school in a rush just so I could practice the dance moves from her video “Oh” especially the scene on top of the car. My sisters and I would have competitions just to see who did it most like Ci Ci!
Being is Ciara’s music video would make my mother proud because my mom was a dancer growing up she would carry a piece of cardboard down the streets of Chicago and battle other breakdancers so ever since her back injury in 2019 it brings her joy to watch me dance and it would be ultimate salute to her to be in Ci Ci’s music Video!
I would finally open a dance studio where I can give other young people a place to safely express their passion and find new ways of being active. It’s always been one of my dreams to own a dance studio for the youth in particular because growing up we didn’t have a lot of money so it was hard for my mom to get us into dance classes but she sacrificed and put me and my sisters into, tap, ballet and jazz dancing classes, so I would love make an affordable option for parents and childr
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
