Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My style is a hip hop and contemporary fusion that brings intricacy and fluidity along with some sharp and energetic elements. I am currently a dance major at the University of Alabama, and have been dancing for 15 years training in all styles. My biggest inspirations are Erica Klein, Kaycee Rice, Sean Lew, and Kelly Sweeney. Their ability to connect a sense of humanity with movement sparked something in me, and want to ignite that same spark in others.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

I found my spark in the dance studio, which shaped my dream of become a commercial dancer. Being in Ciara’s music video would confirm that I’m on the right path, and would further my journey into other opportunities in the dance world, ultimately giving back to the community that inspires me.

What would you do with the $20,000?

Giving back has always been my passion. I was inspired when I was teaching young children, and I would love to explore the idea of starting a scholarship fund for those looking to gain access to dance classes. As well, I would use some of the money to help cover my college tuition, and take off some of the financial burden it has brought to my family.
