My style is femme, dynamic, powerful and full of attitude. I also enjoy house. I feel my soul dancing with sharp and controlled grooves. I’ve trained in hip-hop, jazz, bollywood, ballet, musical theatre, and lyrical. My dance teachers have continuously inspired me by having confidence in me and encouraged me to blend different styles to bring out the best in me. They have instilled great work ethics in me and this is evident in all my performances.
It would be a dream come true and a life changing experience by uplifting my confidence by giving me the opportunity to showcase my passion on such a huge stage. This would in turn open doors to more such opportunities and I’d evolve artistically by learning from such renowned team of artists. This would probably force me to challenge myself even more by exploring new styles and getting more creative with my moves. I think I’d also change the way I view my own potential.
Winning this sounds dreamy! I’d be super excited and full of gratitude if I were to win.I’d use some of this to attend dance workshops and invest more in private training. I’d experiment and learn new dance styles like popping and funk.I’d like to give away a portion of this to a society who helps kids with cancer as I lost a friend in school to cancer. And from what remains I’d give that to my mom and grandparents who helped my dream of becoming a dancer come true!
