My style is very fluid. I’d say romantic a little, sensual, divine and a little tantric. My inspiration comes from 90s/2000s R&B, funk & soul music, rollerskating era, with a stylistic mix of hiphop and latin dance.
It would give me a platform to highlight the unique nature of what it is to be gender-fluid and queer. An identity often glazed over or looked upon with fear or hatred, yet one that ultimately aims to unify us and our dual natures. I believe this opportunity would allow for a reflection for us to celebrate that within us all.
I would use it to fuel my business and life’s work which is driven towards supporting our diaspora of communities and native/indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ identities. With or without this is where my efforts are channeled, gotta keep going!!!
