I grew up training with various dance genres to keep my art diverse. The genres I happen to cherish most are jazz, modern, and especially hip hop. They all allow me to express my character in different ways and I appreciate all opportunities to showcase the numerous parts of myself.
This opportunity would allow me to put myself out there as a dancer which would jumpstart my path to pursuing my passion. I’ve been dancing for over 10 years now and being able to finally make a name for myself through my talent would be a dream
I’d use half of this money to invest in my dance career by building my own website portfolio that potential employers, casting agents, or collaborators can easily access. The other half would go towards saving for financial stability. Since I am a full-time college student, not having to stress about money would be very helpful for me
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
