I always wanted to encourage young ladies of all shapes and sizes especially ones that grew up in the system like myself that anything is possible and find a niche and stick to it for me it’s dance it’s my therapy for my mental health, a way of life, and a escape from reality when everything is going wrong and everyone should find something positive they’re passionate about so they can be one step closer to changing the world with their skills
I currently live in a one bedroom apartment in a not close to satisfactory, a lifestyle Im not used to but had to adapt too because my own family left me for dead, turn their backs on me, and treated me like the black sheep DANCE was my only outlet, my only way to regain my power back, a way of expression if nobody would listen then they’ll feel and hear me through my dance.
I would try to get my siblings all back under one room, I’d buy my own land and make the proper investments and business arrangements to jump start my small black business which is going towards melanated people hair, skin, and nail treatment of all kinds.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
