A fusion of my favourite styles: Freestyle Hip-hop Krump Popping Waving Lyrical Pacific Contemporary Pacific Traditional. These styles, along with a few others, are what shape my unique, flowy, and at some times explosive style of dance. My inspirations for dance are Keone and Mariel Madrid, Paris Gobel, Andy Faiaoga, Cuba Haslam, Sherrick Martin, Manny Soloman, Lance Savali, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Solow, Tight Eyez and my Grandma to name a few.
By being in Ciara's music video I prove not only to myself, and my family, but the countless students I've had the blessing to meet and share my knowledge and experience within the dance industry. Most of my students have come from broken homes similar to my own. From small communities that believe dancing will never put food on the table. Or that the only dreams worth chasing, are in an office job or a factory job.
With $20,000, I would fly my siblings and their kids home to New Zealand. Life's been progressively and significantly difficult for them since before covid. I would also put some away to invest for a future house, as well as a potenial wedding 😎
