I’m a born hip hop dancer! I’ve felt the music through my body ever since I was a toddler! Self taught and driven to learn more in whatever way I had access to. I’ve expanded my dance styles within the last few years in heels dance, contemporary, jazz funk and just lit a whole new level of love for this dance community.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact me immensely!! Coming from a small town where most people don’t expect much to become anything or anyone. I’ve had the drive to push myself to new limits and succeed in dance. Being young, my dream to perform is where my heart lies. Proving to others that you don’t need to always just be technically trained in order to succeed. You need love and passion for this. That is what will keep you going and growing.
I would put it into more training for myself to become a better dancer. It’ll give me the opportunity to work towards more auditions in making a name for myself. While that is how it would help me short term, in the long term I would put it towards opening my own dance studio. I want to create a safe space for all ages to explore themselves and movement.
