Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My dance style comes from both experience and inspiration. It consists of the techniques and styles I’ve learned or self-taught throughout my lifetime which include ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, krump, pop and locking, and other street dances combined with my inspirations for the dancers before me such as Ciara, Usher, Dena Rizzo, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Willdabeast; just to name a few. When I dance I allow both the beat and lyrics be expressed through my movements.
Being in Ciara’s music video would have a big impact on my life, it will give me the opportunity to work with someone I’ve looked up to since a child, and fulfill a life long dream of dancing with one of the biggest inspirations in my life. This opportunity would be a tremendous blessing and will open the door to get me to the point where I can start doing what I love full time.
The $20,000 would be used to invest into my entertainment business that I’ve been building for the past 8 years and that I eventually want to grow to help the youth in my community who have interest in the arts and are being told to have a back up plan or a Plan B.
