I like to describe my dance style as a gumbo you add hip-hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary HBCU style And pro football or basketball style. I believe all dancers should be well rounded and help us to be more marketable and be able to hop into any envision that a producer or an artist wants to portray my dance inspirations are Janet Jackson, Alvin, Ailey, Dallas, cowboy cheerleaders, Brooklyn, Nets, and Ciara and Missy Elliott
When you see music videos You see the typical thing you see very petite girls muscular masculine men you don’t tend to see dark skin fem and plus size guy dancers. this opportunity impact is beyond just me. It’s about creating a place for anyone and everyone of all shapes and sizes and colors have a place to not only express to Dance, but have it be mainstream so the other little boys and girls can have something to look up to look forward to, and feel the inclusion in the industr
Currently I own a nonprofit organization where I work with inner city youth, supplying them with the skills liaisons to create scholarships to make college, not only a dream, but reality for the kids that grew up in my hood. I will use this money to continue reaching the youth in my community by offering scholarships for my program and for my graduating seniors scholarships for them to go out and audition and be seen by the world and follow any dream they may have.
