I dance in all styles—jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary—because I want to be versatile and able to convey different messages. Each style holds deep meaning for me, as it allows me to express emotions and stories. My mom, who passed away, is my biggest inspiration. Dancing keeps her memory alive and reminds me of her strength. When I dance, I feel free and safe, as if I'm truly myself, expressing what words sometimes cannot.
Being in Ciara's music video would be a life-changing experience. Her artistry and blend of hip-hop and contemporary inspire me to push my boundaries. Dance is my way of honoring my late mother, and being part of Ciara's project would be a testament to her memory and my growth as an artist. It would challenge me to evolve while sharing my story and passion with a wider audience, marking a significant milestone in my journey as a dancer.
With $20,000, I would first use part of it to get my mom a proper gravestone. My family couldn’t afford one when she passed, so her grave is just a number. Giving her a beautiful, meaningful marker would be a way to honor her and give her the respect she deserves. The rest would go toward advancing my dance career—taking classes, building a professional reel, and supporting my family. It would help me keep moving forward while keeping my mom’s memory alive.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
