Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

Hip hop is the style I always felt myself the most in and what I can bring the most flavor into. I combine my hip hop flavor along with inspiration from my favorite dancers and let my personality shine. Mia Moves is the movement I call my style of dance. Artists like Ciara hugely inspire me because she recognizes the impact dancers make on visuals and the music industry while being a dancer, artist, and mom her self. Being free and being me inspires me to help others do the same.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

Growing up watching Ciara dance in music videos and trying to mimic her was one of the highlights of my childhood. To experience working with her in a music video would be a complete full circle moment and encourage me to always follow my dreams because they can take you anywhere you imagine. It would give me the exposure I’ve been wanting as a dancer to be able to teach more people and one day soon have my own studio. I would use this opportunity to showcase my skills and get my name out.

What would you do with the $20,000?

That amount of money would change not only my life, but my 3 year old son’s life as well. I would be able to finish school and look for a spot in Chicago that I can call my own to set up my dream studio. Teaching dance full time doing what I love would mean I’m on my right path. Being from the suburbs of Chicago, I can finally turn this energy and passion I have for dance into a career & live out my dreams on a bigger scale while ensuring my son has everything he needs.
