I started dancing in high school when I joined color guard, and have been performing in this community ever since. I love this style of performance art because it allows me to express myself in a way I didn’t get to growing up and being shy. It taught me to be fearless, expressive, vulnerable, mentally tough, and has shown me so much Joy. It’s taught me to be myself. Now the best part of my journey is getting to teach and pass on my passion to my amazing students.
Oh my gosh this would change my life. I’m working multiple jobs, taking dance classes, trying to find my way.I didn’t pursue my dreams for a long due to self doubt that I was “starting too late” but decided that this would be the year I wouldn’t hold myself back.Dance brings me so much joy and I love putting myself out there for any opportunity to learn. I hope it can inspire some of my students to dream big for themselves and not be afraid to try new things.
In this economy… I would first pay my bills🤣 I’ve been under so much stress financially so this would be huge for me. Then I would go to school for dance; I’ve always wanted to but haven’t been able to because I can’t afford it.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
