I enjoy hip hop dance. Majority of my inspiration comes from not any individual person but culture. I am from New Jersey so jersey club is what I grew up doing. That is what jump started my love for dance. I enjoy the challenge of learning a piece and making it your own and practicing until it’s muscle memory.
Dance is an industry that is unforgiving. I want to be in a space where I can have fun. This opportunity would help me prove to myself that dance is still a possibility for me.
I would use it to further my dancing education as I’ve never been trained technically and I would use it to help out my family.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
