My dance style is Hip-Hop or jazz funk, my inspiration is Ysabelle Caps, but also trailblazers such as Josephine Baker and Jasmine Johnson. Taking dance classes at my HBCU Spelman College has given me the knowledge of where and who dance derived from which has given me a newfound respect for all dance styles and those who moved it forward.
Being in Ciara's music video would not only kickstart my dance career but help me move to LA as I am a senior in college looking to pursue my dream of dance!
With the $20,000 dollars I would be able to pay off any debt that pertains to school, but also put it towards my move to LA as I look for a job while I continue to follow my dream. This money would alleviate the stress I have been feeling towards post-grad life.
