Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My dance style and inspiration is a mix of styles born in the early 2000’s. I grew up on Michael Jackson, Missy Elliott, Ciara, Beyonce, Timbaland, Usher. It was A time and place when the music was poppin’ and people used to actually dance and have fun in their music videos.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

How wouldn't it impact my life? I have danced my whole life and my only regret is not continuing in college along with getting my education. Being a dance teacher now, I want my kids to know that ANYTHING is possible if you keep working and keep training. If I am chosen to be a part of this project I will not only prove to my students, but to myself that I can still do anything I set my mind to.

What would you do with the $20,000?

Save it and find different ways to bring more attention to our dance programs at Morton Grove. I would invest some in myself to go back to class and relearn the fundamentals of dance. (specifically jazz)
