My style of dancing is called Litefeet ( a Harlem style dance that is characterized by fast footwork and jumps.) Living in Harlem, Dancing is second nature for people and that was ingrained in me as well. That's where it all started.
Being in Ciara's music video would greatly impact my life for the better. I would be able to show my talents to a worldwide audience and achieve my dream of being a dancer at the biggest stage. As a resident of Harlem for a majority of my life, there's not enough opportunities for people of color to succeed. There's an abundance of poverty surrounding this area. I want to give hope to people that anything is possible. I want to use my dancing talent to represent my neighborhood and inspire.
I would use half of the $20,000 to reinvest into my dancing career and give the rest of it to my mom for all her hard work throughout the years, raising me in the young man that I am today. I love her with all my heart and soul.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
