Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I started dancing in the church very liturgical/praise dancing. In addition develop principles in ballet and tap. My inspiration for dance more recently came about from not being to move after a cervical spinal injury in 2022 from a truck wreck. As a result I was barely able to walk, shower myself or put my hair up through the pain. i used to smile to fake the pain but through prayer, dedication, physical therapy and other tests I am able to overcome this injury to dance freely .
Growing up when i was a little kid my God sister Cathy knew all of ciara songs. We would practice in front of the TV the choreography from goodies, never ever , ride to name a few. When I got older i used to always say imma be in one of ciara music videos as abackup dancer . This would make my dream come true but also be a moment to display my resillience in spirit and truth that comes from dance. Ciara has been admirable to me and I would value this opportunity to impact each other forever
In 2019 i founded a tax exempt non profit OneYou" inc. We seek to educate, engage, equip and empower the local kids ages 5-17 in the community to become the best versions of themselves through leadership, behavioral science & community development. Our goal is to be the change that we need to see for ourselves & families believing that change starts with one and that one starts with you. The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
