I grew up doing various dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, lyrical, modern, pom, drill, African and more. I think my personal dance style would be 2000s hiphop. I’ve always imagined myself in the music videos from back in the day and I would copy artists like Ciara on my TV or on YouTube. My dance style is groovy, cool and fun.
Being in Ciara’s music video would change my life forever. I would be so grateful to dance with my idol and make her proud. She inspired me to be the dancer I am today and without her, I probably would’ve never started moving. Even when I play her music in my car, I’m creating choreography in my head because I simply can’t help myself. Anytime someone asks me who I’d dance for, she’s my first response. My life would be complete if I was giving the opportunity.
If I won the $20,000, I would honestly save it as best as I can. I’m a a senior in college who is trying to figure out adulting which we all know isn’t the easiest thing in the world. Even if I don’t win the money, I would be honored and so grateful for my talent to be noticed and appreciated by Ciara or whoever is watching me. The money is just a plus.
