My dance style is free spirit, Street, hip-hop. I feel and flow with the music and beats. My inspiration is my mental health my son, and all other dancers who have fun with movement. Dance helps clear my mind. It takes me away from the heavy, stressful world. When watching others dance that pushes me to keep on, and to never let go of my first love.
Being a minority living in a neighborhood not so safe it will change my life for me and my son. I am the first in my family to go to college and I want to show myself and family that there is more out in life, you just have to go for it. Ciara video will impact my faith, courage and belief. It will confirm my leadership me to never give up and never compare yourself to others.
The first thing I will do is move me and my son out our family generation housing apartment into our own safe space. Then I’ll pay off some college debt. I know I will have to back to my 9-5 career as a teacher assistant so saving is also my goal in life.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
