Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I grew up watching dancers perform for Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, and The Martha Graham Dance Company. Performers and choreographers such as Yanis Marshal, Torrin Clifton, Dazz Harris etc. Because of these dance companies and performers it motivated me to start dancing. I wasn’t able to start young however, at age 16 I received training in many styles such as Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, and Majorette just to name a few.
Being in Ciara’s music video would give me the jumpstart I need in my dance career. I’m 19 years old now, and it would allow me to see my dreams manifest at such an early age.
With the $20,000, I would use to the money to help pay for my tuition and help my move to New York. I’m currently a sophomore in college so getting help with tuition would be nice. I would also save some of it so that when I graduate I can move straight to New York and continue my training at the Martha Graham school and start my broadway career.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
