Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

I’ve been dancing since I was four, beginning with ballet and expanding to jazz, tap, and pointe. Inspired by Misty Copeland, the first African-American woman principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, I joined Under Construction Dance Team (UC) at University at Albany, a group focused on hip-hop and dancehall, to explore diverse styles. Now, as UC's president, I'm proud of our achievements, including dancing at Madison Square Garden and our current application to perform at World of D

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

Being in Ciara’s music video would change the trajectory of my life. My long-term goal is to own a dance studio where I will teach the next generation of dancers while also establishing a private practice as a pediatric neuropsychiatrist. I aspire to dance on global stages with vocalists and musicians. I also want to be a clinician, treating neurological conditions in children and adolescents. Being a part of Ciara’s music video will be the kickstart I need to make my lifelong dreams

What would you do with the $20,000?

With $20,000 I would be able to begin my long-term goal of opening a dance studio for marginalized and at-risk youth who need healthy outlets to express themselves. I would collab other diverse dancers to teach dances of all styles and genres. I would also further develop my dance portfolio and continue taking dance classes to perfect my craft. Additionally, I would attend medical school so that I can become a pediatric neuropsychiatrist and treat and advocate for underrepresented communities.
