My dance style comes from a variety of genres. The mix of growing up with ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, theater and hip-hop training grew into a profession focused mainly around hip-hop and underground African influenced dance styles such as house and social dance such as salsa. New York City is my cultural inspiration. It taught me the roots and heart of street and club dance. Los Angeles is my creative inspiration. It taught me to believe in your uniqueness. Everyone has a home.
I grew up watching Ciara. In high school we did a dance to “Like a Boy” and I remember how that danced helped me during a difficult time as a teenager. It was a space to channel my energy. I followed Ciara on Instagram years later and her journey. Her inspirational and encouraging movements deeply influence me personally. Her many incredible projects, from fashion to giving back, have made an impact on me. I have my own business/creative movement and hope to inspire others, too.
Dedicating half of the $ to my life with my loved ones. Dedicating a quarter to my new LLC, SureheArt, which aims to cultivate artistry & wellness throughout our communities. Dedicating the last quarter to a combination of giving back and travel.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
