i dance on a team where we focus on the foundations of hiphop such as popping and krumping as well as my own personal style which is a lyrical r&b choreography style with contemporary background. i love trevor takemoto brian puspos and keone madrid.
as someone who comes from a family full of refugees, living in a small town of hate and racism, i believe this opportunity would help me further my career in dance proving that people from a small town can make their dreams come true. being in the music video will prove my immigrant family that my passion isn’t just a side hobby and i can truly succeed with my dream.
with the 20,000 dollars, i would first use it to help out my immediate family with our financial struggles as well as use the money to help fund my dance career. with the money i can use it to help pay for transportation due to me not having a car, help pay off a car so i can drive myself to work and to dance practices, and help pay my grandmas medical bills. i have a lot of reasons with needing the money but it would help out not having to worry about if i can pay to eat that day or save it
