I’m a messenger of music. I dance to give it physicality so that people don’t just hear the music, but they see it and they feel it.
Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
I am a freestyle hiphop/animation dancer. I watched a lot of Chris brown growing up, so he was my very first inspiration. As I got older, I found an animation dancer named James Cody. He inspired me to get into the animation style. I was then introduced to Les Twins in high school, and they’ve been my dance idols ever since.
It would give me the exposure I’ve been looking for as a dancer, it would open avenues for me to make money doing what I love, and it would even prove some people wrong because I was told when I was young that I could not make a living doing what I love as a dancer 🙃
First thing I’m definitely doing is paying for my wedding in July. Then I’d invest some of it for sure, so I can make more money from it…I’d probably pay some bills with it 😅 I might use the rest to either go back to school to be a teacher, move somewhere where dance is more prominent so I could flourish and grow more, or maybe enroll myself in my first dance class. Whatever I do, the money is going to last.
