My inspiration draws from different forms of art being painting, different genres of music, and watching improv. Being able to picture and feel something through these art forms, elevates my dancing through them as well. Although I have been trained in multiple styles of dance, I always have a love for hip hop/jazz funk and contemp. fusion where I can get lost in the beat, give all my energy, and perform like no one’s watching. Knowing that I can inspire other dancers keeps me going.
Being in Ciara’s music video would not only be a dream come true but such an amazing opportunity in my career to be a part of an incredible experience and work with such a successful performer in the industry. It would be an honor to work alongside someone I’ve looked up to for years and gain the experience of working with her creative team to enhance her vision and bring it to fruition. An opportunity to do what I love & gain networking skills is something I won’t forget.
For the past four years, I’ve been studying Commercial Dance at Pace University, enhancing my training and increasing my knowledge on preparing for the industry post-grad. I would use the money to relieve any financial debt I have accrued while being taught by amazing professionals in the industry so I can keep pursuing my dreams in the entertainment world. I’m excited to jump at new opportunities, inspire a community, and connect people through dance.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
